Hello
My name is Clayton, the founder of Drift Trades website. I have been actively trading now for five-year. I realize this is not a very long time, however, I have experienced and learned a lot over the years. I heavily invested in my education, attended multiple workshops, seminars, webinars, bought online courses and joined trading groups. My goal is to share my experiences with you in the hopes that I can save you some money and, more importantly, time to start you on your trading journey.
I would like to tell you a little of my back story and how I got to where I am today.
Where it all began…
My trading journey started about 5 years ago when my fiance and I attended a Tony Robbins event. Don’t get me wrong, Tony was great, but the biggest thing that I took out of that experience was listening to Phil Town talk and go over his process. It all sounded great and so easy to do. I bought it hooks, line and sinker. During this talk, he was selling tickets to a three-day event where he would teach this strategies, introduce the students to the wonderful world of the stock market and options trading. I was so excited that I was one of the first people to sign up. This was the official start of my obsession with the stock market!
From that point on, I attended Phil’s event, bought additional training with Phil and his team and went further down the rabbit hole of Phil’s options strategies. I learned a great deal from Phil and his team. Phil focused more of core of long term trading to build wealth using fundamental analysis. I still use his strategies and calculations today to find wonderful businesses at attractive prices, however, this is a very long to strategy and I was looking for something to get out of the “rat race”.
This turned my attention to day trading.
After completing some research on the internet and studying some charts, I thought to myself “I’m great at noticing patterns, I found my calling and I am going to make a fortune!” Boy was I ever wrong. To my surprise, I was not the exception to the rule. Things didn’t turn around for me until I invested in my education and started taking things seriously.
WHY I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE
I want to help people realize their dream of becoming a successful day trader. Like-minded people who are sick of selling their time, our most valuable resource, for a wage and working for somebody who most likely doesn’t appreciate your true worth. For 20 years, I want people to be able to spend time with their families and enjoy life, rather than spending all day in a job and letting your life pass you by. I have worked for various faceless corporations who have treated me as nothing more than a number. I wanted more for my life and day trading is the key to that lifestyle. To quote something my mentor always says, “Trading is simple, but not easy.” I’m pretty sure he was not the first one to say this quote, but he uses it all the time. And he is 100% right. I want to help people get to a place where they are not selling their time at a 9-5 job and watching life pass them by.

My goal for this site is to help you minimize your learning curve when it comes to the stock market, teach you some things that I have learned along the way, share my recommendations of potential education sources and help you obtain your goal of getting out of the “rat race” and living your best life.
